Weaving Dream (Dệt Mộng) invites you to wear stories, not just outfits. Inspired by Vietnam’s rich textile traditions and the everyday beauty of garment culture, this is a board game where cloth becomes conversation, and personal expression becomes play.
Weaving Dream received Second Prize at the 2025 Cielune Spiele Board Game Competition for its creative fusion of Vietnamese textile heritage and contemporary design, a recognition of how this game turns center-stage something both deeply local and universally resonant.
In the game, players collect Fabric Cards and Dress Cards to sew Tops and Bottoms, then combine them into shared Outfits. At the end of the game, players judge outfits not just on harmony and beauty, but on how well the person can wear them to an Event, sparking conversation and connection around color, pattern, and personal meaning.
The magic of Weaving Dream is that no two games look the same. Every player brings their own taste, every round becomes a discussion about style, memory, and cultural texture.
